Staying In Baha Mar

The Scoop on Baha Mar — Baha Mar is located in Nassau, Bahamas, just a few minutes from the airport. The airport has a large Baha Mar stand for getting your hotel transfer. It consists of three resort hotels. 

Rosewood is a luxury 5-star resort offering a more quiet and private resort experience.  Rosewood has a kids club, fine dining, and suites with Butlers waiting for you. We stayed in a suite that was massive in size. The staff is attentive, and the dining options at Baha Mar include a restaurant by renowned Chef Daniel Baloud.  

Grand Hyatt is the biggest hotel on the property. It has a casino and offers kids’ clubs and a pool for families. The rooms are not huge, so a family of four would likely be happier in two rooms, especially if you have teenagers.

SLS Baha Mar caters to more couples and younger groups. An adults-only rooftop pool is quite a scene, and at night, DJs are in the lobby, ready to start the party.  The lobby area of SLS Baha Mar is elegant, and most rooms have king beds, so if a family stays there, this is important because there are few rooms with two beds.

All of these hotels have access to Baha Mar. Baha Bay is the waterpark that appeals to families in Baha Mar. With water slides and a lazy river, every age range will love spending the day here!
