Our Park City, Utah Vacation

Our Park City, Utah Vacation

Summer was winding down, and our family took one last vacation out West. This was the first time for my crew to head West, and we were all very excited to check out Utah!

Checking into The Waldorf in Park City, you feel like you are being welcomed into a friend’s warm mountain home. This property was originally built as private residences; it has 90 accomodations, a 16,000 square foot spa, free exercise classes, 2 hot tubs, and a pool. It is located in the Canyons area of Park City, which is the kids’ ski area. The lobby is warm and inviting, with a grand fireplace imported from Italy. Our suite offered a full kitchen with Viking appliances, a huge living room, and 2 baths and bedroom

Park City hosts many fun events for families during the summer. The Canyons base area hosts weekly concerts, and we took the gondola up to the base area for music and fun! I can’t leave out my children’s favorite parts: the alpine slide and the alpine roller coaster. This is not just for kids; I had as much fun as my children! We also went to Olympic Park to see The Flying Aces. These are Olympic and World Champion athletes who showcase their freestyle ski skills in front of an audience. This was amazing and inspiring to watch!

Something that I loved about Park City was that it wasn’t overly crowded. It was wonderful not fighting for a table at a restaurant and a very covid friendly vacation. During summer, when domestic travel was insane, and I heard from clients how hard it was to dine out in some of their out west adventures, we had a very easy time doing things.

This vacation was a Christmas gift I had given my husband, he is an avid mountain biker, and he was able to

mountain bike in Deer Valley and Park City, making this one of his favorite family vacations. The Rogers crew had a wonderful time in Park City and, in particular, the Waldorf. We knew the employees, the kids could walk around the hotel, and I felt safe be/c it was a smaller size hotel. A week here wasn’t enough time. We will be back Park City!
