Our Trip to Waldrof Pedregal Los Cabos

Waldrof Pedregal Los Cabos

Situated where the desert meets the ocean on the Baja peninsula is the Waldorf Pedregal. The Waldorf boasts a cliffside and seaside location. On arrival, you are immediately impressed as you enter paradise through the private Dos Mares tunnel, an amazing and grand entrance that is a tunnel that goes through the mountain, lit with lanterns. And a very warm welcome as we were personally greeted by our concierge and hotel management.

At check-in, I looked up, and the staff was proudly hanging up their 5-star award….an award I would soon learn was well deserved!

Every room at Waldorf Pedregal comes with its plunge pool. The Deluxe King room featured an oceanfront view, a grand King bed, shower, separate bathtub, and our very own bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila. The rooms are big, spacious, and reflective of the Mexican culture.

There are 2 beachfront infinity pools on property, a zero-edge kids pool, and a saltwater relaxation pool. The attention to detail by resort staff was outstanding. Post-pandemic, I would hear of staffing shortages…not at Waldorf Pedregal. The service was outstanding! My personal concierge was a text message away! She helped with dining reservations, spa appointments, and driver service.

I loved the check-in/lobby area of the hotel be/c it was all outside in a breezy area overlooking the ocean. This is where they also host tequila tastings.

Since this was our first trip to Cabo, we went on a sailing trip to see the Cabo arches, and sunset on the arches with the whales coming up and dolphins jumping was like something out of a movie. Truly a fantastic experience, as whales are migrating in the winter months, so every time you look out into the ocean, you see a whale spout!

I also got to check out the spa, and before each spa treatment, they wash your feet in water that is infused with Rosemary. After my massage, they open the doors to a beautiful view of the gorgeous spa pool!

One of the most beautiful and romantic restaurant settings is el Farallon, perched on a cliffside at the Waldorf. Wonderful fresh seafood and an amazing view…this dining experience is a requirement no matter where you stay in Cabo!

There are villas situated right around the family pool for families. They are large and so convenient….these villas book up very quickly; it is best to plan for a family vacation there! I got to check out the kid’s wonderful camp facilities, and the kids were having so much fun between art classes and playing soccer. They even were riding horses on the beach!

Cabo was a wonderful experience, and the Waldorf was exceptional. Five stars from @littletravelmama! I also receive the following amenities at Waldorf Pedregal:

Breakfast buffet daily in Don Manuel’s for two guests per bedroom

$150USD equivalent Resort or Hotel credit utilized during stay (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not redeemed in full)
